How we buy

The inspection happens before the photographs.

Most dealers photograph a car the day it lands and inspect it if a buyer asks. We do it the other way round. Every car goes to an independent specialist first, gets a paint depth survey, a bore scope where the engine warrants one, a full underside check and a diagnostic pull, and only then does it go anywhere near a camera.

The report comes to you unedited, including whatever it found. A stone chip on the nose of a car that has covered four thousand miles is not a problem. Finding out about it after you have paid is.

It means we turn down roughly a third of the cars we are offered, and it means our floor is smaller than the competition. Both of those are features, not bugs.

Where we walk away

Five reasons a car never reaches the floor

None of these are negotiable, and none of them depend on how quickly the car would sell. If a car meets any of them, it goes back to the seller.

  • Undeclared paint or panel work that the seller has not put in writing
  • A service gap between owners that nobody can account for
  • Track use that only shows up once the car is on a ramp
  • Structural or recorded insurance repairs, at any price
  • Mileage that the history file cannot corroborate

Questions

The things people ask before they commit

Can I reserve a car before viewing it?

Yes. A refundable deposit holds any car for seven days, which takes it off the site and out of every other conversation we are having. If you view it and walk away, the deposit is returned in full.

Do you take part-exchange?

Almost always. We take anything from a daily driver to another supercar, and we will give you a firm figure in writing before you commit to anything. Outstanding finance is settled directly with your lender.

What warranty comes with the car?

Manufacturer-approved cars keep their factory warranty and we transfer it to you. Everything else is sold with a twelve-month specialist warranty covering the drivetrain, electronics and cooling as standard.

Will you find a specific car for me?

That is a large part of what we do. Give us the specification and a budget and we will work the trade and private networks. There is no fee for the search, only the agreed price if you buy.

Do you sell outside the United States?

We export regularly to Europe and the Middle East and handle the shipping, documentation and duties. Budget around three weeks from cleared funds to delivery.

Come and see one

The floor is open six days a week.

No appointment needed to look. Book one if you want a car warmed up, a specific specification pulled out of the trade, or a valuation on the car you are moving on.
